The sport of synchronized skiing is an exciting sport where teams of 6 or 8 members perform intricate and complex routines to music. The teams ski in technically difficult formations such as diamonds, boxes, triangles and lines. All the routines are high intensity with many changes in formations and also rhythm changes from short to long turns. The teams are judged on synchronicity, technical skiing, and the overall appeal of the routine. Endless hours of practice and hard work are required to be successful and the team has been on the podium at the world championships on numerous occasions. The goal of the team is to win the World Championships and also to one day represent Telluride at the Swiss Snow Happening.
