Cubs Camp at The Nursery at Telluride Ski Resort

Located just steps away from the slopes in the Mountain Village Activity Center, our nursery is a warm, inviting space located next to the children's ski school offering fun and exciting activities for infants and toddlers.

We care for infants and toddlers 2 months through 4 years old.

HOURS:
Cubs Camp at the Nursery is open 7 days a week with advanced reservations. Hours are as follows:
Check-in: 8:30am | Pickup time: 4:30pm

ACTIVITIES:
We have a clean facility with a toddler play room, an infant room, an eating/art area and four nap rooms.  Large motor toys are available in the toddler room. Infant, toddler and preschool toys are available.

Other activities include: story time, music, puzzles, games and art projects.  We provide baby swings, cribs, baby gyms, walkers, bouncy seats; all of which are developmentally age appropriate. Weather permitting we take the children outside daily.

RATIOS:
Infants:  1 care giver to 2 infants
Toddlers:  1 care giver to 5 toddlers

STAFF:
All of our staff have documented child care experience, CPR, First Aid and AED certified and LOVE KIDS.

FOOD:
Healthy snacks are served in the morning and afternoon to toddlers, lunch is served around 12:00pm. Parents of infants provide formulas, bottles and baby food. Diluted juice is also served. We serve whole milk upon request.

RESERVATIONS:
Reservations are required for peak season dates.  To make reservations call 970.728.7531 or submit a reservation request online HERE.  A credit card must be given in order to make a reservation.  Walk-ins are accepted if space is available.

PARENTS PROVIDE:
All Children:  6 diapers, wipes, change of clothing, comfort items (blanket, pacifier, pillow etc).  Please provide Milk/Formula for nap time if necessary.  Infants: Bottles, formulas, food.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations are accepted with 24 hours notice due to illness, travel delays/cancelled vacations. Please call 970.728.7531 to cancel. No-shows/no-calls will be charged a cancellation fee of $40.

SKI CUBS

Offered to children ages 2 1/2 to 4 years old, this package will introduce your child to the slopes through special games and techniques, with a personal ski instructor.  The program is for children who are not ready to spend the full day outside, although are ready to spend 1 hour sliding around on skis.  When your child is not outside sliding and learning about ski culture, the children participate in a variety of entertainment and stimulating activities such as story-time, art projects and games indoors. 

• Includes ski lesson, lift ticket, rental equipment, daycare, lunch and snacks.
• Check-in: 8:30am | Pickup time: 4:30pm

Please plan on arriving early on the first day to fill out required paperwork. Equipment must be picked up at The Children’s Center Rental Desk 30-minutes prior to drop-off in The Nursery.
