At the St. Sophia Nature Center you'll find information on hiking and biking trails, weather expectations and local ecosystems to help prepare you for your adventures in the area.  Interpretive display subjects include:  geology, animal tracks and signs, Native American history, water use and pelts and skulls.  Our expanded retail section features books, maps and an eclectic assortment of Telluride logo items and snacks.

Group-based learning from 10AM - noon every Tuesday and Thursday during June, July & August.
$25/child/program.

Located just a short distance from the top of the gondola, the St. Sophia Nature Center is located atop Coonskin Ridge overlooking the town of Telluride.
