Rustic Elegance in the Majestic San Juans
Named for the family that built the ranch, Gorrono was once a Basque sheep herder’s farm in the 1800s. Recently renovated, today Gorrono Ranch is a favorite venue for weddings and events because of its authentic beauty, breathtaking views, and unsurpassed service. A truly magical place, Gorrono Ranch offers an extraordinary and private Colorado mountain experience.
Located on the ski run above the Mountain Village core, Gorrono features multiple outdoor decks which boast Wilson Mountain Range as a backdrop. These decks provide the perfect venue for ceremonies and cocktail receptions. In addition, there are two smaller historical cabins that can be used as bride and groom dressing rooms, gaming rooms, or scotch tasting. The main lodge exudes rustic elegance with large dining rooms, stone fireplaces, and plenty of room for dancing and entertainment.
Our chef will customize a menu of culinary excellence to suit your event style. We pride ourselves in using the highest quality meats, seafood and produce to create in-season and regional dishes. We offer everything from a western barbeque buffet to elegant sit down dinners for your special event.
