    TELLURIDE SKI RESORT NAMES NEW EXECUTIVES
    New Ski School, F&B Director and Council Announced

     

    TELLURIDE, CO., December 16, 2008 – Telluride Ski Resort recently hired a trio of new executives. 

    Daniel Zemke takes lead as new General Council for Telluride Ski and Golf. A graduate of the College of Law from the University of Tulsa, Daniel comes to Telluride with a significant legal background in construction law, real estate law and general litigation practice. Daniel has worked both in Tulsa as a litigator and locally with Tueller & Associates.  Daniel returned to Telluride this fall to work with the Telluride Ski Resort.

    George Bigley returned to the Ski Resort this year as Executive Director of Food & Beverage. George has been with Telluride Ski Resort on and off over the past eight years. A two time GM of Allred’s Restaurant, Bigley was brought back on to redefine the dining experience at Telluride Ski and Golf. George returned with his wife, Cathy earlier this fall from Las Vegas.
     
    The company recently appointed a new Executive Director of the Telluride Ski and Snowboard School. Fred Rumford previously held the position of General Manager of the Beaver Creek Adult Ski and Snowboard School from 2003 – 2008. Bringing broad experience to the Telluride Ski Resort, Rumford supervised children’s programs in Vail from 1997-2001.  He was also the GM of Vail’s Lionshead Children’s Ski and Snowboard School from 2002-2003. Fred is Level 3 Certified – PSIA-RM and has placed and won several Powder 8 Championships. Fred joined the team September 9, 2008.
