Playin’ In the Plaza, Psycho 10k Race This Week!
New Belgium Scavenger Hunt and Plunge Music Festival Next Week!

TELLURIDE, Colo. (March 11, 2009) - Telluride Ski Resort presents a fantastic lineup of Spring Break events! New Belgium Brewing Company proudly announces the Scavenger Hunt Mountain Series on March 21. Participants dress in the best costumes, search for Bigfoot and answer ridiculous riddles all while skiing and raising money for the Telluride Adaptive Sports Program. Awards and prizes will be given out at the Beerlicious post party at the Hop Garden beginning at 3 p.m., with dancing and the chance to win a New Belgium cruiser bike! Teams can consist of as few as two and as many as six, with an entrance fee of $10 each. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. at the New Belgium tent located at the base of the Village Express (4). The ‘Playin' in the Plaza’, free concert series in Mountain Village’s Heritage Plaza presents the Subdudes on March 12 and the great Porter Batiste Stoltz on March 19. Presented by TMVOA, both concerts begin at 3 p.m. and are all ages, free to the public shows.

Telluride Ski Resort and Telluride Nordic Association proudly present the Psycho 10K!
The freestyle cross county race will be held on the new “PSYCHO” loop race course at Priest Lake on March 14. The Psycho race completes the 2008-2009 Telluride Nordic Challenge Series, although competitors are not obligated to complete all races to win prizes! Registration begins at 10:30 am at Priest Lake, race starts at high noon. The fifth annual Plunge Music Festival kicks off March 20 and 21!
Fly Me To The Moon Saloon presents Adam Deitch + DJ Rootz on Friday, cover $12, the show begins at 10pm. Saturday evening, the Sheridan Opera House hosts the Hip Hop Showcase, the Mighty Underdogs, Adam Deitch + DJ Rootz, and DJ Essential at 9 p.m., $30 per ticket. Back at the Moon on Sunday, DJ Showcase, DJ Kinetik, and DJ Ryan Smith begin their groove at 10 p.m. for $10 entrance fee. Rail Jam in the Hoot Brown Terrain Park with Live DJ’s all day Saturday. Apres ski DJ parties both Friday and Saturday at the X Café (base of Oak Street Lift (8)).
