GOLF COURSE PRIMED FOR A SPECTACULAR 2009 SEASON
    Course Opens Friday, May 22

TELLURIDE, CO (May 21, 2009) – Telluride’s stunning 18-hole, par-70 course is now open for the 2009 golf season. With an abundance of spring sun and showers, the course is in fantastic condition.

“Due to a fast melt this spring, we had a jump start on preparing the course for opening day,” said course Superintendant Kevin Cahalane. “The crew has done a fantastic job, and the greens are in the best shape seen in several years.”

Set against the breathtaking views of the San Juan Mountain Range, Telluride golf course provides mountainside fairways, wide open vistas and a beautiful resort course layout – a delightful challenge for novice and expert players alike. Since 1992, the exquisite beauty and unique challenge of the Telluride Golf Course has thrilled players from around the world.

The full service Pro Shop offers lessons from PGA certified professionals, custom club fitting and the latest in equipment and apparel.

Public play is available from 10:30 a.m. daily, and as an opening special, greens fees are just $69 after 12 p.m. through May 31st.
