Telluride, CO (June 23, 2009) - Telluride Ski & Golf invites the public to Imagineer Your Perfect Ski Resort. The resort will hold a presentation and work session on July 6th from 6 p.m. – 8p.m. at the Telluride Conference Center. “It is time we begin working on a new plan and vision, and we are seeking input on the future of the ski area,” said Dave Riley, CEO of Telluride Ski & Golf. “We would like to discuss and hear from Telluride and Mountain Village residents, employees, and second homeowners regarding the resort’s future, including what they would like to see in the next 5, 10 and 15 years. We all want this community to thrive, and obviously the ski resort is an important amenity and has a key role in the future of the area.” The event will include a brief presentation by Riley on the resort’s history, with an overview of potential opportunities for the future. Attendees will be asked to work together in groups to provide feedback, ideas and perspectives. Winter topics include: terrain, lifts, mountain restaurants, and night skiing. Summer topics include: alpine slide, zip line, amphitheatre, and mountain bike trail expansion. The workshop comes as the resort is due to update its Forest Service Master Development Plan, as well as on the heels of the start of Mountain Village’s 15 year comprehensive planning process.
