    TELLURIDE SKI RESORT OPENS THANKSGIVING DAY
    Lifts Opened Thursday, Nov. 26
    Telluride Preparing For Inaugural World Cup

    TELLURIDE, Colo. (Nov. 26, 2009) – The Telluride Ski Resort opened today with the first chair carrying the Telluride World Cup Planning Committee!

    After a brief ribbon cutting by CEO of the resort, Dave Riley, the World Cup Organizational Committee took the first chair. Planning months in advance for the international event, the World Cup Committee (seated left to right) consists of Meehan Fee, Director of the Telluride Conference Center, Justin Chandler, Executive Director of the Telluride Ski and Snowboard Club, Elizabeth Howe, Executive Director of Resort Services and Chief of Operations for the World Cup, and Scott McQuade, CEO of the Telluride Tourism Board.
