Telluride, CO (Dec.21, 2009) – Dave Riley of the Telluride Ski Resort is inviting the entire community, holiday visitors and part time residents to a presentation and discussion on the future of the Telluride Ski Resort. Mr. Riley will present a brief overview of the history of the ski area, and then open the discussion to the entire community for input. “We have begun working on a vision, and we are seeking input on the future of the ski area from those who know it best,” said CEO of the Telluride Ski Resort, Dave Riley. “We would like to discuss and hear from Telluride and Mountain Village residents, employees and second homeowners on the ski resort’s evolution in the next 5, 10 and 15 years. The ski resort holds a pivotal position in the growth and sustainability of this area.” The event will include a brief presentation by Riley on the resort’s history, with an overview of potential opportunities for the future. Topics include terrain, lifts, mountain restaurants, summer recreation and night skiing. A hosted beer and wine reception will immediately follow. Vision 2025, 4 p.m.-6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 27, at the Capella Telluride in Mountain Village. Beer and wine reception to follow.
