The Peaks Resort & Spa Named Host Hotel for
2010 Telluride Gay Ski Week

Thursday, January 7, 2010 (Telluride, CO) – Together with the producer of Telluride Gay Ski Week, The Peaks Resort & Spa announced today that it will be the Host Hotel for the acclaimed annual week that brings hundreds of gays and lesbians to the region, many for the first time.

Scheduled for February 20-27, 2010, the 7th Annual Telluride Gay Ski Week presented by the Matthew Shepard Foundation has been ranked the #1 Gay Ski Week in the United States in the global ranking by Gay.com, the leading Internet resource for the Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender (GLBT) community.

Events are planned throughout the week including past years’ popular events such as the White Night Party and the Opening Night Party hosted this year at The Peaks Resort & Spa featuring brands from the official wine, beer and spirit sponsors of Telluride Gay Ski Week. New additions in 2010 include the Blades of Glory Skating Party and sponsorship from The Matthew Shepard Foundation including a benefit dinner with co-founder Judy Shepard, Matthew’s mother, scheduled to attend.
