STORM BRINGS 37 INCHES OF POWDER TO TELLURIDE

New Terrain Park Open Day and Night
Snow Base One of the Best in Colorado

TELLURIDE, CO. January 24, 2010 – Telluride Ski Resort has seen over 11 inches fall overnight, with a 7 day storm total of 37 inches. Telluride now boasts a 56 inch base, one of the best in snow country to date. Skiers and riders are enjoying fluffy powder conditions, with more snow expected Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the area.

Telluride Ski Resort’s amazing terrain and amenities received a much welcomed addition last week with a new Terrain Park and Superpipe! Skiers and snowboarders who like to ride jumps, rails and superpipes will now be able to night ride in Telluride. The lighted adventure park opened Jan.16 at 5pm, with a ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration. With the addition of the new park comes big news - from 4 p.m. to 7p.m. every Thursday through Sunday, jibbers and park riders can enjoy the illuminated park well into the evening.
