SEAN TANNEHILL JOINS TELLURIDE SKI RESORT AS CLUB GENERAL MANAGER AND GOLF DIRECTOR
TELLURIDE, CO. (March 2, 2010) - The Telluride Ski Resort is pleased to announce that Sean Tannehill will be re-joining the TSG team in the new position of General Manager of the Telluride Ski & Golf Club and Director of Golf. Sean began his tenure with TSG in 1995 as a member of the Race Department in the winter months and as a Golf Professional in the summer months. After many years as Director of Golf Operations, Sean left TSG in 2007 to pursue an opportunity as Head Golf Professional with The Cornerstone Club in Montrose, Colorado. Sean then moved into the role of Club Manager/Director of Golf Operations, which included oversight of all daily operations of The Cornerstone Club including food and beverage, golf, turf care, caddie program, cabin rentals/property management, an equestrian program and membership sales. From his years at The Cornerstone Club, Sean will bring valuable experience and knowledge with him to the Telluride Ski & Golf Club. Additionally, his understanding and expansive knowledge of our membership as well as the club make him a perfect fit.

As the General Manager of the Telluride Ski & Golf Club and Director of Golf, Sean will report to the Executive Director of Resort Services. His responsibilities will include oversight of the following: Golf Operations, Golf Maintenance, Golf Shop Operations, Member Club Houses, Golf Course Halfway House, Membership Sales and Member Events.
Sean, his wife Andrea, and their two year old son, Keller, will be moving from Montrose to the Telluride area within the next month. They are looking forward to reuniting with their Telluride friends and community. Sean said that “it’s a dream come true” to be able to come back to work for TSG and is anxious to get started.
We are very excited to have Sean in the position of General Manager of the Telluride Ski & Golf Club and Director of Golf and wish to extend to him a warm welcome back to the TSG team. Sean will be starting in his new position on March 15, 2010.
