MASSIVE STORM HITS TELLURIDE SKI RESORT
22 Inches Overnight
Most Accumulation in Ski Country!

TELLURIDE, Colo. (March 27, 2010) – A storm hit the San Juan Mountain Friday, bringing an incredible 22 inches of snow to the Telluride Ski Area in the last 24 hours. Snow fell at a rate of 2-4 inches per hour throughout the area Friday evening and night.

Today, more snow showers are expected, mainly before noon. High near 35 with a north wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. Tonight, a 20 percent chance of snow showers before 9pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 13. North wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast. Sunday sunny conditions are expected, with a high near 47.
