Eco Adventures Offers One-stop Access to All Regional Activities
Summer Programs include Family Adventures, Eco Kids Camp
San Sofia Nature Center Opens June 11

June 9, 2010-(Telluride, CO) – Telluride’s one-stop shop for outdoor activities, Eco Adventures, is now open everyday for the summer. Eco Adventures provides information and booking for all the activities the Telluride region has to offer, including fly fishing, camping, hiking, rafting, kayaking, rock climbing, as well as a great retail shop.

Eco Adventures also offers great summer programs, including Eco Kids Camp beginning June 17, Monday-Friday from 9-4 p.m. for kid’s ages 5-12 years old. Kid’s Adventure Programs begin June 17, starting at $30 for morning or afternoon sessions for kids 3 years and up. Family Adventures offer half and full day custom adventures for kids and parents alike. Adventures begin May 21.

The San Sofia Nature Center opens seven days a week beginning June 11. A variety of educational activities for both children and adults are located steps from the gondola on Coonskin Ridge. Visitors stop by to learn about area ecosystems, local flora and fauna, or get the latest hiking and biking trail information.

“Eco Adventures is about connecting people to this unique area with outdoor experiences,” said Amy Laubenstein, Manager of Eco Adventures. “We are truly excited to be able to help Telluride visitors, the kids and locals alike enhance their enjoyment of this region.”
