FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MediaContact: Tom Watkinson (970)728-7409 twatkinson@tellurideskiresort.com Telluride Announces Unparalleled Dining Experience at Alpino Vino Guests Transported by Snow Coach to Top of the Resort Telluride, Colorado (Nov. 15, 2010) Sprinkled throughout the Alps, small mountain chalets sit tucked under protected ridgelines, hiding in the shadows of some of the world’s most renowned peaks. For a couple hours effort, you can hike to their door, to be greeted warmly and hosted by the proprietor and caretaker. You will be offered the region’s signature spirits and wine, and then a meal shared at long tables. As the sun sets, you’re treated to a solitude and expanse of stars matched to towering ranges, a rarity of experience deep in the mountains. Telluride has brought this centuries-long tradition home to the Rockies, and taken it to next level with dinners by Snow Coach at the resort’s signature new chalet, Alpino Vino. Near the top of Gold Hill at Telluride Ski Resort, Alpino Vino offers stunning views into Bear Creek, of the San Sophias and out to Wilson Peak, undeniably some of the most beautiful and spectacular terrain in the Rockies, more often compared to the Alps than anything in North America – and even more special in the quiet and privacy of night. For this exclusive dining experience, guests will be transported in a new heated Snow Coach from Allred’s Restaurant to Alpino Vino ... where the gracious staff will greet you with a glass of sparkling Prosecco and welcome you inside North America’s edition of chalet dinners in the Alps. The evening menu features a five-course Italian themed tasting menu, boasting a variety of antipasti, handmade ravioli, escarole soup, lamb osso bucco or poached swordfish. Fine cheeses or tiramisu finish the meal. Alpino Vino features an extensive wine list from top producers around the world, with several wine flights available by the glass. Dinners at Alpino Vino will be available each Saturday night during the winter season with seating for up to 26 guests. The cost is $125 per person, plus beverages, tax and gratuity. An optional wine pairing is available for $50. The Alpino Vino dining experience is an intimate affair for guests 21 years of age and older. Private events are also available at Alpino Vino any night during the ski season for groups or family get-togethers. Alpino Vino is open daily for lunch during the winter season. To make reservations for Snow Coach dinners at Alpino Vino or to schedule your private event, please call the reservation team at Allred’s Restaurant at 970.728.7474. -www.tellurideskiresort.com-
