Telluride Ski Resort Takes Advantage of Longer Days
New Belgium Event and a Shift in Operating Hours this Spring

Telluride, Colorado (March 09, 2012) – As spring approaches with warmer days and cold nights, the best snow conditions for skiing and riding the mountain occur later in the morning and into the late afternoons. In order for guests to make the most of these great snow conditions, the resort will shift its current operating hours of 9am-4pm to 10am-5pm in conjunction with Daylight Savings on Sunday, March 11. The time shift optimizes the snow conditions with the day’s temperatures, which is also ideal dining conditions at all of Telluride’s on-mountain establishments.

““Shifting operating hours is a great way to ski the best snow during the spring season,” said Telluride Ski & Golf CEO Dave Riley. “It has been well received the past few years by our guests and it gives our young local skiers and riders a chance to get on the mountain after school.””
