A car is not necessary if you plan to stay in the pedestrian-friendly, resort areas of Telluride and Mountain Village. Parking

Telluride and Mountain Village offer a number of free and paid parking options, including free day parking at the Gondola Parking Garage. Many of the parking options are within walking distance of the free gondola that provides access to both towns or are also serviced by Telluride’s free Galloping Goose bus service.

Note: While overnight parking is allowed in some area lots, overnight camping in a vehicle is not permitted.

During the winter months, routine snow removal is conducted: every Monday, between 5pm and 9pm, the north side of the lot is closed and every Thursday, between 5pm and 9pm, the south side of the lot is closed, unless signs denote the contrary. After April 1 of each year, this snow removal policy is no longer in effect.

  • STATE AND COUNTY SAFETY INFORMATION

    State of Colorado Requirement to Wear a Mask

    Following is the State Executive Order requiring the use of masks:

    All Telluride Ski & Golf guests are required to wear a mask that covers both nose and mouth when in any public area of the resort. These areas include all indoor spaces with the exception of when you are inside your rental unit. Guests who refuse to wear a mask may be denied service and/or asked to leave the resort.

    San Miguel County “Dial Level”

    All guests are encouraged to take their temperature prior to leaving their accommodations each morning. Any guests experiencing COVID-19 symptoms must remain home and seek medical attention.

  • BASE AREA, LIFT LINES, CHAIRLIFTS, GONDOLAS

    All Telluride Ski & Golf Resort staff will wear masks/face coverings while in the base area. All high-touch surfaces will be disinfected frequently, and all of our high touch items such as map boxes, tissue boxes and chairlift bar maps have been removed.

    In the lift lines, our ticket checking will be done at arm’s length with no guest/staff contact. The maze queues will accommodate social distances and “ghost lanes” will be used at the busier lifts to provide lateral distancing between queues.

    All guests must wear masks while in line, and when loading and unloading lifts. Guests who can not or will not wear masks may not be permitted to load the lift.

    Guests will not be required to ride on a chairlift or gondola with people outside of their party. Individuals who are not from the same party may ride a chairlift together with a minimum of one seat separating the unrelated individuals or parties.

  • TICKET AND PASS SALES

    All lift tickets, passes, lessons and other products must be purchased on line in advance, prior to arrival at the resort. This can be done at shop.tellurideskiresort.com.

    Floor plans and signage will facilitate social distancing while waiting in lines to pick up products or check in for ski school. Plexiglass barriers will be installed where appropriate.

    All high-touch surfaces will be disinfected frequently and hand sanitizer will be available for guest and staff use.

  • SKI SCHOOL

    All of our ski school products will be available on a pre-arrival, pre-purchase and advance reservations basis only. Our instructors will meet guests outdoors and we will make efforts to limit indoor interactions such as food & beverage stops.

    The ski school products and group sizes will be adjusted to limit contact between guests not in the same group.

    A lesson may be canceled if a guest refuses to follow safety protocols or begins to experience symptoms of COVID-19.

    Guests will be educated on the 5 commitments of containment and during the check in process, all guests who are taking a lesson will be asked to sign off on the following statement:

    Symptoms of COVID-19 are Fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea. I am not experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 and have not been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID 19 in the last 14 days.

  • RESTAURANTS

    With the new county order, our restaurants will be open for take out only. You may also consider bringing your own food to enjoy in your lodging accommodations and/or buying from our local markets.

    We have added outdoor structures for additional seating at Giuseppe’s, Gorrono Ranch, Bon Vivant and High Camp for guests to eat and warm up.

  • LODGING

    For guests of Telluride Ski Resort-owned lodging properties including the Peaks, the Inn at Lost Creek and homes rented through Telluride Resort Lodging and Telluride Central Reservations, new safety protocols have been implemented.

    Daily housekeeping will not be available during your stay, but any housekeeping needs or additional items will be available upon request. Elevator usage will be limited to individuals or families traveling from the same household

    Cancellation Policy – Any lodging reservation at Telluride owned or managed properties may be cancelled with a full refund up to 21 days prior to arrival.  Within 21 days of arrival, a credit will be offered.

    If you are sick or have been in close contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of your reservation:
    • Stay home
    • Seek medical attention
    • Get tested
    • Follow all medical advice

    If you get sick during your stay or have been within 6 feet for greater than 15 minutes of someone who tests positive for COVID-19
    • Stay In your rental unit. Do not go skiing or participate an any other activities
    • Seek medical attention
    • Get tested
    • Follow all medical directions
    • Guests may extend their stay at their own expense to complete isolation or quarantine requirements

  • SKI PATROL

    All patients will be asked standard COVID-19 questions. pre-care, standardized with Telluride EMS. Additional disinfecting of all patient care items will be done between patients (snowmobiles, rescue sleds, blankets, etc.).
