Get ready to hit the slopes as Telluride Ski Resort opens its doors Saturday, December 2nd for the Winter 2023/2024 season! Over 60 acres of skiable terrain will be ready for you, including the following runs:
- Village Bypass to Lower Boomerang with access in and out of Gorrono
- Upper Misty Maiden
- The Meadows
- Both Magic Carpets
For easy access, the Village Parking Garage offers a ski-out route via Double Cabins.
Lift 4 and the Chondola (Lift 1) will be the only lifts running on opening day. If you’d like to access the resort via the Gondola, you may either hike from the San Sophia Midpoint Station to Village Bypass (as Butterfly will not be open yet), or take the Gondola to the base of Lift 4.
Gorrono Ranch will open at 11 am, serving up slopeside drinks and snacks. Ski School and Cubs Camp will also open for the season, operating during their usual business hours.
Remember, safety first! Until opening day, all resort access is closed, including hiking, skiing, and skinning. Sledding is a no-go at any time, and uphill access will remain closed on opening day, until further notice. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
